Position Summary:

The Treasury Analyst supports Operational Treasury activities at Airbus Americas and US subsidiaries including Payment Processes, Inflows/Outflows Reconciliation, Daily Liquidity, and supporting compliance for Treasury processes.

Primary Responsibilities - Operational Treasury activities (90%)

Ensure Payment Processes: 40%

  • Be "last gate" of payment validation ensuring together with the accounting team no business interruption
  • Support Treasury Management Systems implementation with the various Airbus entities in North America, and provides recommendations to the Head of Treasury in Airbus Americas
  • Guide improvements to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable adherence to the Airbus Group treasury policy throughout Airbus subsidiaries in North America

    Support Inflows/Outflows Reconciliation: 40%
  • Treasury flows reconciliation in collaboration with the accounting team to ensure the appropriate booking
  • Collaborate with central treasury to improve current processes and documentation
  • Ensure payments investigations with the Bank in collaboration with the accounting team

    Ensure Liquidity: 10%
  • Collaborate with the Finance team in Airbus Americas to properly drive cash positions and ensure no interruption in operations by organizing adequate daily funding

Additional Responsibilities - Compliance:

Other duties as assigned: 10%

  • Support compliance at Treasury level by ensuring the right procedures are in place and controlled
  • Participate and provide information for the different audits

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • High School diploma required
  • A college degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years' experience in treasury or accounting activities

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Able to prioritize, take initiative, work under pressure, be persistent in goal-achievement and meet deadlines
  • Possess Intercultural Awareness
  • Be autonomous, proactive and willing to take responsibility
  • Able to drive implementation / standardization / alignment in a complex corporate environment
  • Able to follow pragmatic and adaptive approaches and keep balance between process compliance and operational activities
  • Work collaboratively, but maintain independence and professional skepticism
  • Demonstrate assertiveness with internal clients

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, fluency in a language other than English is preferred
  • Able to explain and convince with crisp and clear messages
  • Diplomacy and discretion

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • A mastery of Microsoft Office and Google Suites and substantial experience in using both tools
  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent business management software
