Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for providing high-level operational support in a fast-paced environment to the Head of Global Mobility, North America. The incumbent will have a professional demeanor with exceptional commitment to accuracy, detail, and follow-up. Individual must have the ability to handle confidential information while exercising sound judgement and discretion.

Primary Responsibilities:

Global Mobility support: 70%

  • Expatriate Expense management
  • Policy review and confirmation for expenses submitted
  • Coordination with Payroll department
  • Re-allocation of expenses to departments
  • Assistance with travel arrangements
  • Coordination with vendors
  • Coordination with Expatriates and families
  • Write and update internal processes

Project Management Support for Global Mobility activities for North Americas: 20%

  • Coordination of project specific costs
  • Tracking of status for Mobility related projects

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned: 10%

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • Business Management, Human Resources, or equivalent major is required.

Experience:

  • Prior relevant work/internship experience in a Human Resource, Global Mobility, Finance and/or corporate function is required.
  • Prior relevant work/internship experience in Project Management is preferred.
  • Prior relevant work/internship experience within the aviation industry is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions.

  • Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
  • Equipment Operation: (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.
  • Carrying: able to carry documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
